WASHINGTON — Institute for Energy Research is pleased to announce several additions to its DC-headquarters team: Dan Kish returning as a Distinguished Senior Fellow, Kenny Stein working as Director of Policy, Jordan McGillis serving as Policy Analyst, Erin Amsberry joining as Communications Manager, and Alexander Stevens starting as a Policy Analyst.
Each of these staff members brings years of experience in the energy, communications, and policy fields. After serving as Senior Vice President of IER for nine years, Dan Kish became Energy and Environmental Policy Advisor for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and now returns to IER. To round out its policy team, IER has a wealth of experience in Kenny Stein (previously with ALEC), Jordan McGillis, and Alexander Stevens. To increase press relations capacity and digital advocacy efforts, IER welcomes Erin Amsberry, previously a Digital Media Associate at AEI.
IER President Tom Pyle made the following statement:
“It is an exciting time at IER with staff growth that will propel us forward and set us up for success in the coming years. Each team member will play an essential role in further establishing IER as a leading free-market voice in the energy debate.”
